
Mrs. Evans received her Ed.S in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. She received her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction and B.A. in English and secondary education from the University of Saint Mary. She is actively pursuing a Doctor of Education in Curriculum from Capella University.
Mrs. Evans taught English and journalism at the secondary level for ten years. She served as principal for one year at Saint James Catholic School and two years at Cathedral School. Most recently, she served as a curriculum advisor for the district. In addition, she has taught various English and education courses at the collegiate level.
Mrs. Evans has extensive experience leading Professional Learning Communities, impact teams, curriculum development, and best practices in the field of literacy.
